Auxiliares Spain Travel

Hey there future expats! After making the big move twice, here’s my detailed video of how to pack and what to bring when moving to Spain. Read my full article of pro packing tips!

My full packing list from the video:

  • 10-25 shirts (edit)
  • (optional) a couple dresses
  • around 5 pairs of jeans
  • around 5 pairs of shorts
  • 2-3 pairs of sweatpants/comfy pants
  • (optional) skirts
  • 5-8 long sleeves (zip ups, hoodies, jean jackets, sweaters)
  • 1 light jacket (I took a fleece North Face, original I know)
  • 1 warm jacket (with a hood, nothing subzero)
  • a raincoat (for northern regions of Spain only)
  • 5 (or less) pairs of shoes (in the video: sandals, boots, running, walking, and going out shoes)
  • a few socks, underwear, and a swimsuit (you can buy more upon arrival)
  • bras/sports bras
  • makeup/jewelry/stick deodorant/books in English
  • (optional) scarves

Carry on (e.g. backpack)

  • electronics (cell phone, camera, laptop and/or tablet)
  • American to Europe adapters
  • chargers
  • change of clothes
  • toothbrush/toothpaste (you can buy other toiletries there)

Thanks for watching! The list is mainly just essentials, so tweak my list to add a few can’t-live-without items where you need. What’s something you can’t travel without? Comment below!

Once you arrive, here’s “How to Find an Apartment in Spain!”
